Bon Voyage! - BabyMoon #2

Simon and I are headed off on a cruise to Mexico tomorrow by ourselves! We decided when we were first married that before we had a new child we would go away for some alone time before our household became more busy. Last spring, before we had Sofi, we went off to an all-inclusive place in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was fabulous! This time, we decided a cruise was the way to go. We are excited to go, but at the same time, are nervous at leaving Sofia for a week. Thank goodness Aunt Dee-Dee is here and going to watch Sofia for us! She has been here getting more acquainted with Sofia and Sofia LOVES it. She loves all the attention she is getting! Thank you so much, Dee-Dee, for babysitting for us! We love you!

9 Months Old

Sofia is now 9 months old. Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? Seems just like yesterday that we were home with her for the first night after getting home from the hospital. Simon and I looked over at the bassinett in the middle of the night, marvelling at her.

Sofi is getting SO big and is advancing in her developmental skills. She can now stand up and pulls up on EVERYTHING! It's pretty funny and we have to watch her all the time now because she gets into everything. We have to remember that she is just exploring...

Here are a few things that we love about her at this age:
-She still loves story time and knows all the kids
-She LOVES cheese (go figure since I am allergic!)
-She loves yogurt, applesauce, apples, and all veggies (basically, she wants everything we eat)
-She loves playing with other kids (it's too cute to watch)
-She loves playing with her toys (especially the toy laptop Grandma Gray got her)
-She loves crawling all the time and playing
