One year ago on the 22nd, we welcomed Giuliana Amanda Gray into our family! I still remember walking with Simon early that morning to get the contractions or something going :-). Heck, she was TWO days late. I just wanted her out and wanted to be done with being pregnant. We had been walking for days in the mornings, but nothing was happening. But, that morning while walking I told Simon that I felt different. While walking I started feeling a little pressure, not pain, just pressure. I didn't know what contractions felt like b/c I didn't have them with Sofia (I just progressed without them...). I suggested that we go home because the pressure was getting stronger the more we walked. I got home and called the nurse and she said to go to L&D to get checked. Well, lo and behold, I was at 6 1/2 cm! They didn't think that there was going to be time to get the epidural, but thank heavens the guy was already there and since this was my second birth at the same hospital, I got the epidural less than 10 minutes later. Immediately after the epidural, they checked me and I was 8 1/2 cm, so I was progressing fast (just like with Sofia). 4 quick pushes and out came sweet Giuliana, with lots of hair and the chubbiest of cheeks less than an hour after we got to the hospital! 
We still can't believe how Giuliana has grown and developed! She is fiesty and knows what she wants and will cry til she gets it...She is starting to walk, which is great because she is 24 lbs. and too heavy to cart around all day! Most of all, Giuliana is the sweetest, most cuddliest baby! Her favorite place is in our arms and we wouldn't have it any other way!
