Well, we have had one sick baby! Sofi had her first real cold..She woke up in the middle of the night on Wed a week ago. We haven't had her wake up in the middle of the night since she was a couple months old, so were surprised to hear her on the monitor. I went to check on her and she was huddled in the corner, looking SO sad. I picked her up and she was HOT! I immediately went into panic mode. I brought her to bed with us, stripped her down to her diaper and took her temperature. It was 104.5! We gave her some Children's Tylenol and just held her for the rest of the night. It was what she wanted...We also called the nurse line and they called back immediately and said that they didn't think that it was anything b/c Sofi did not have any other symptoms. We got the first appt. the next morning with our pediatrician and it was confirmed that Sofi just had a "fever virus" that was going around. There is nothing you can do but love and care for a baby, which is what we did! Simon gave her a blessing, that the fever would go down, and it did right away! Sofi was still a little weak for a few days, but then she popped right back into crawling all over the place and cruising. I don't think that anything will keep this young lady down for long! Look at her walking with Daddy...She can take a few steps on her own, then she realizes that she is doing it by herself and falls down...
At 10 months, Sofi is such a delight! She is the happiest baby ever and we love her dearly! She now weighs 17 lbs, 14 oz. Here are a few milestones, things that we love about her:-Is such an adventurer, exploring everything
-Is content playing with anything, especially plastic bins and colorful plastic eggs
-Is a flirt, smiling and playing with everyone
-Waves hello and goodbye
-Loves to be on the floor, playing
-Still LOVES storytime
-LOVES music and especially loves it when we sing to her. She gets the biggest smile on her face when she hears her favorite songs. It's so adorable!
-loves all books, espicially the pop-up and flap books
-laughs and smiles happily when we go and get her in the mornings
-loves to drink from cups, especially Simon's drinks
-wants to only eat grown-up food (who wouldn't after looking at mushy baby food!)
-loves to give us hugs and kisses
(We went to see my OB on Friday. We LOVE her! She delivered Sofi and will also deliver this little one in late July. In this picture Sofi was more interested in the stethescope...)

That is SO scary! I remember the first time Atticus vomited--the sister missionaries were over for dinner and he threw up right in front of everyone. Crazy. Sick babies. SO sad.
By the way, she is so beautiful!
Sofia is just too cute! Getting so big...Oh, and isn't it a blessing to have the same doctor? Come see us soon. And, we are glad that Sofia is feeling much better. What a tough time. Glad she is such a trooper! Already 10 months, wow, where did the time go?
