Pure Happiness at 20 Weeks Old

Sofi is now 20 weeks! My how the time has flown by...She is definitely the joy of our lives and SO special! I never knew that I could love someone so much and find such happiness in motherhood! Today, I was folding clothes and Sofi was sitting on the bed in her chair watching me. (I can already tell that she is going to be my little helper soon...) When I was done with the laundry, Sofi opened her arms up to me, so that I could pick her up. It was the first time that she had done this and my heart just melted! I picked her up and cried tears of pure happiness...I love her so much! Who knew that such a simple gesture could bring me such happiness! What a blessing this experience is. And, I am SO excited that I get to share this experience with Simon. He has been in TX this week. I can't wait for Sofi to show him her open arms gesture. When he calls, Sofi's face lights up, just at hearing his voice! She knows who her parents are...
Here are a few things that Sofi is now doing that we LOVE:

- rolls all over the place. it's funny because to roll from back to tummy, she clasps both hands together and propels herself over. i love it! she gets so happy rolling around
-laughs out loud now, especially when Simon is playing with her. i love seeing them laugh hysterically
-loves any and all books. especially, loves the librarians at the library and getting to see them almost every day
-loves sitting on the counter watching everything we do
-wants to touch EVERYTHING. she is such a curious baby and I LOVE showing her the world!
-can sit up by herself for a long period (see pic below...)
-wants to play with her feet all the time (this is really funny to see, see pic below...)
Here are some pictures of Sofi from this week. How can you not love this face?:

Awww! YOu make me feel good! ;) I am a huge pampers fan. I've tried huggies and generic but I guess I'm a snob when it comed to pampers. That is AWESOME she sleeps so long!!! Do you feed her right before you lay her down. If so you may want to feed her and then lay her down 30 min to an hour later and change her right before you put her down. That way she also won't be dependent of feeding to sleep. But, that's just me. I don't want to force my opinion on others. I have learned how delicate the "fedding" and "schedule" talk can be between mothers! ;)
