Cruise

Well, we are back and had a fabulous time in Mexico! We were worried that Sofia would not remember us but when we walked in the front door, she had the biggest smile on her face and giggled and opened her arms for us to pick her up. She was excited for the rest of the night! We were SO happy...So, we worried for NOTHING. She was happy and had a great time with Aunt Dee-Dee. For those of you that are interested, cruise lines really cater to pregnant women. It was fantastic...They gave us a cabin that was secluded from other cabins. They also made sure that I stayed hydrated during our "days at sea" time. I felt very cared for.

I have to say, I suggest spending time alone before new babies are born! We needed the time together, alone, to just relax together, to talk about life and it's upcoming changes, etc.

We started the cruise off with massages and facials in the spa. I have to say, getting a prenatal massage is absolutely the best thing in the world! They really tended to all the areas that pregnant women experience stress. I was SO relaxed afterward! Simon had a great massage too! Here is a picture of me looking VERY relaxed and happy after the massage:The weather was fantastic and we both got our yearly tans in nicely! A couple of funny things happended while there. First, there were these girls that came on the cruise with their boyfriends. Well, they didn't eat very much in the presence with their companions, but they kept sneaking off together to grab bread and butter! It was pretty funny...How sad, to be hungry all the time. If there is one thing Simon knows, it is that I will NEVER waste good food! Second, Simon was going down the water slide on the ship and was recruited into participating in pool games. It was a boy against girl game. They had to come up with synchronized swimming routines. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! Simon is going to kill me, but here is the video of the guys portion:

Here are a few more pictures from the cruise:

Darn. It looks like I missed the synchronized swimming routine. It sounds like y'all had a blast!

I've been waiting for this post! I'm glad Sophia wasn't mad at you for leaving. I'll have to look into a prenatal massage. I could use one right about now.
