The doctor's office changed our pediatriatric appt to December 2nd, so I don't have "official" numbers, but I weighed Sofi this morning and she weighs 16 lbs now. That s a gain of 2.6 lbs. since her last appt. at 4 months. That puts her in the 47th percentile for weight.
We have gone from this:

Here are a few things that we love about her:
-smiles and laughs all the time
-rolls all over the place
-still loves story time at the library
-is excited to eat solids
-opens her arms when she wants to be picked up
-is very sociable
-always has to have something in her hands to play with
-is a great sleeper and eater
-smiles really BIG whenever she sees Simon come in the door
-is in the beginning stages of crawling. it's really funny to see. she now scoots by hiking her butt in the air and propelling herself forward
-LOVES her bumbo chair. but I have to make sure that nothing is around her when she is in it. she will lean forward and backward to get something she wants
-loves Baby Gym at Home
-talks all the time (not really understandable, but she wants so much to...
-can pull herself to sitting position
WE LOVE YOU SOFIA FRANCES!!!

Wish we were closer so you and Audrey could play together. She is only a litle over a month older than you!
I can't believe it's been 6 months already! WOW! She just keeps getting more beautiful every day. And I love to see how much you are both enjoying her and being her parents!
Well Happy 6 Month Birthday Sofia!

Happy Birthday my dear Sofia Frances. You have enriched my life beyond description. I love you more than I ever thought love was possible and I'll do anything to make sure your life is rich and fulfilling. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important thing I could ever hope to teach you, and I'm so thankful that even at your young age you so attentively listen to my sermons. I adore your laughter, your smiles, and even your slobber. God has truly granted me happiness greater than I could ever deserve. First he gave me San and then you. What man could wish for more.
I love you!
Always and Forever,
Daddy
San,
She is so adorable and you can tell that you are the proudest mom. Isn't it crazy how fast they grow up. It looks like you are all doing so well. We miss everyone in Alabama, who knows maybe one day we will end up back there.
